Everett Scott Sr. and his wife Hazel began the business selling eggs from their home in 1970. Since then Forestwood Farm Inc. has grown into one of the largest produce distributors in the state of Alabama. Forestwood sells fresh produce, vegetables, eggs, milk and other dairy products to Restaurants, Schools and Military facilities in the Southeast.
Forestwood currently has two locations. The Birmingham location is a 55,000 square foot facility featuring temperature controlled coolers and a state of the art in-house Processing area. The Huntsville location is a 33,000 square foot facility.
Presently the business is owned by Everett Scott Jr. and Randy Scott. Their children are also working in the business to keep the tradition going.
